You will join the “Data & Innovation” team as a Data Governance Manager within Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking. We are working on data projects (data governance, data analytics and machine learning) for the CIB banking businesses in order to explore business opportunities as much as possible. We pay particular attention to the implementation of a governance of data assets and associated business processes in order to guarantee quality, accessible, interoperable and reusable data, consistent with the business strategy.

The Data Governance Manager will work closely with the NCIB Data Manager to support the deployment of our data management ambitions, which are based on an implementation associated with strategic business or regulatory use cases for the bank.

On a daily basis, your tasks are to:

Strategy

• Participate in the prioritization of data projects and the construction of the roadmap;
• Identify opportunities to value data;
• Supporting product owners in the deployment of data management tools;
• Manage strategic project data streams (governance, controls, KPIs) and coordinate IT and business stakeholders.

Structuring data governance

• Support the management of the data governance framework (policies, processes, roles and responsibilities) in alignment with the ambitions and strategy set by the NCIB Data Manager;
• Define and contribute to the drafting of key data management deliverables such as a data classification or critical data qualification matrix, target data architecture, monitoring KPIs;
• Supporting the Data Community in its Data Management initiatives;
• Implement data maturity indicators and dashboards to monitor progress and seek continuous improvement;
• Lead, participate in and/or contribute to one or more governance and steering bodies for data assets (for example: Monthly DDOs, Data Community Townhall…).

Acculturate and federate professions

• Promote the data culture within Natixis CIB and raise awareness among businesses about data issues;
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of an internal training plan on Data issues in collaboration with the Change Management Manager and deployment of AI tools;
• Support change management initiatives associated with the deliverables for which you will be responsible.

About you: If this is your description, you are made to work with us! With a higher education, you have at least 7 years of experience in similar positions.

You master:

• The CIB business and its essential processes;
• The definition and deployment of a Data strategy;
• Data issues and technologies / Data management (Data preparation, Data Transfo, Data visualization, data management tools, data and/or process mapping tools, etc…);
• Lead the change and pedagogy around data.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen; you are:

• Autonomous and rigorous;
• An excellent communicator (comfortable presenting and sharing information both orally and in writing, at all levels of the organization, including C-level).

You are proficient in English with a C1 level.
