Sr Data Engineer

Support and enhance existing software applications within the Cotiviti product suite.

• Collaborate with senior developers, offshore teams, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders.
• Analyze and resolve software issues reported by internal or external customers.
• Document application specifications, designs, features, and operations prior to production rollout.
• Execute software enhancements to improve system performance and availability.
• Communicate technical and operational issues effectively with both engineering and business leadership.
• Ensure adherence to all technology standards throughout the software development process.
• Explore and contribute innovative ideas to improve processes or system efficiency.
• Continuously learn and integrate new technologies into the Cotiviti product suite.
• Execute all phases of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other developers.
• Complete responsibilities outlined in the annual Performance Plan and assigned special projects.
• Ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

• Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
• Healthcare data experience.
• Proficiency with large datasets, relational databases, and ETL processes.
• Experience optimizing and tuning SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Deep understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
• Experience with MS Access, scripting languages (VBScript, PowerShell), Java frameworks, and .Net Framework.
• Knowledge of enterprise scheduling tools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
