Job description

  • Contribute to AI training, benchmarking, and evaluation projects involving game development and interactive 3D applications.
  • Review, analyze, and provide feedback on Python, C++, and Panda3D code related to gameplay systems and engine functionality.
  • Evaluate game logic, rendering workflows, asset management, and gameplay mechanics for correctness and quality.
  • Contribute real-world game development examples to improve AI understanding of modern development workflows.
  • Document technical decisions and explain development approaches through clear written communication.
  • Participate in iterative review cycles to improve AI-generated code and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to improve AI performance across game development scenarios.

Requirements

We are seeking a Junior Python Game Developer with hands-on experience using Panda3D to support AI Training and evaluation projects. In this role, you will apply your game development knowledge to help improve next-generation AI systems by reviewing code, analyzing gameplay mechanics, and contributing real-world technical insights related to interactive 3D applications.

This is an hourly-paid contract opportunity, not a traditional game development position. Contributors will work on project-based AI training and evaluation tasks designed to improve how AI systems understand game programming, rendering, gameplay logic, and software engineering workflows.

No prior AI experience is required. What matters most is practical experience with Panda3D, strong programming fundamentals, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly., * Hands-on experience with Python programming, particularly in game development environments.

  • Practical experience developing applications with the Panda3D game engine.
  • Familiarity with C++ and its use within game development workflows.
  • Experience using GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code reviews.
  • Understanding of 3D game development concepts, rendering pipelines, and gameplay mechanics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous contributions to open-source software or game development projects.
  • Familiarity with AI-related projects or emerging AI technologies.
  • Knowledge of modern software development practices, testing workflows, and game development pipelines.
  • Personal or academic portfolio demonstrating Panda3D projects or interactive 3D applications.
