Job description

Seeking an experienced Senior Desktop Support Engineer to provide advanced desktop engineering, system support, troubleshooting, and endpoint security management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting enterprise desktop environments, Windows operating systems, Active Directory, cybersecurity practices, and mobile device management solutions., * Design, build, test, deploy, and troubleshoot desktop solutions

  • Support and manage Windows desktop environments
  • Administer and manage Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Perform Windows image deployment and package creation/management
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and administration
  • Support endpoint security solutions including:
  • Anti-virus tools
  • PKI
  • Hard drive encryption
  • Client security hardening
  • Troubleshoot VPN connectivity and two-factor authentication issues
  • Support networking configurations and connectivity issues including DHCP, VLANs, ACLs, and Firewalls
  • Manage and support client workstation hardware
  • Administer and support Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and standards
  • Handle multiple priorities and resolve complex technical issues efficiently

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * 84 months (7 years) of Desktop Engineering experience

  • 84 months of experience with Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • 84 months of experience with technical design, build testing, and debugging
  • 84 months of Active Directory Group Policy experience
  • 84 months of Windows image deployment and package management experience
  • 84 months of PowerShell scripting experience
  • 84 months of client security management experience including antivirus, PKI, encryption, and endpoint hardening
  • 84 months of networking experience including DHCP, VLANs, ACLs, and Firewalls
  • 84 months of VPN and two-factor authentication troubleshooting experience
  • 84 months of Active Directory administration experience
  • 84 months of cybersecurity and compliance experience
  • 84 months of client workstation hardware support experience
  • 84 months of Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities
