Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to lead the development of scalable backend systems and drive our migration to a cloud-native architecture. This role requires technical leadership, deep expertise in backend and cloud technologies, and a strong commitment to agile and DevOps practices., Architect, design, and implement robust backend services and workflows. Lead technical discussions and mentor junior team members. Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, documentation, and deployment. Drive cloud-native migration and optimization efforts, primarily on AWS. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

Requirements

Programming Languages: Python (preferred), or Golang/Java with advanced object-oriented programming skills. Cloud Platforms: AWS (preferred) or Azure, with deep experience in cloud architecture. Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred) or AWS CloudFormation. Version Control: GitHub (preferred) or GitLab. Development Practices: Proven experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Agile Methodology: Scrum using Rally (preferred) or Jira. EDI Standards: Working knowledge of X12 formats (nice to have).
