Job description

Join a leading telecommunications organization focused on expanding and enhancing broadband network infrastructure. As an In-Building Network Construction Manager, you will oversee multiple in-building and wireless network construction projects while coordinating field operations, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery., * Manage multiple, simultaneous network infrastructure construction projects from planning through completion.

  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, financial tracking, and vendor performance from proposal through final delivery.
  • Coordinate installation of new in-building broadband networks and related equipment.
  • Evaluate multi-tenant residential and commercial buildings for compatibility with broadband network solutions.
  • Produce accurate technical as-built documentation and project records.
  • Support local field engineering and sales teams with operational and technical needs.
  • Conduct vendor meetings, project status calls, and construction coordination activities.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Requirements

  • 5 7 years of experience managing telecommunications or broadband infrastructure projects.
  • Hands-on experience designing and installing in-building broadband network architectures.
  • Experience working with coaxial, twisted-pair copper, Cat6a Ethernet, and fiber optic cabling.
  • Knowledge of switching equipment, broadband network technologies, and CATV provider termination points (terminals, pedestals, etc.).
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting coax and Ethernet cabling.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety practices and hazard identification.
  • Experience using ladders and drilling in commercial and multi-dwelling buildings.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills with experience supporting clients in the field.
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle capable of transporting tools and equipment.
  • Strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate project management and reporting tools., * Experience with Google Workspace and mobile productivity applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience.
  • Experience working on commercial or multi-dwelling rooftops (flat and/or pitched).
  • Wireless network (cell site) construction experience.
