Job description

Design, deploy, secure, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
  • Support cloud architecture, security engineering, operations, disaster recovery, and enterprise documentation.
  • Key Duties:
  • Architect and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure solutions.
  • Implement and optimize Azure compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
  • Enforce Zero Trust and defense-in-depth security principles.
  • Configure and monitor Azure security controls, alerts, and vulnerabilities.
  • Perform security assessments and remediation.
  • Implement monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel).
  • Support disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC).
  • Develop infrastructure as code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform).
  • Automate deployments using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and runbooks.
  • Ensure documentation meets ITIL and compliance standards.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for cloud and security incidents.

Requirements

Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and core services.

  • Strong cloud security engineering experience (Zero Trust, compliance frameworks).
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and automation pipelines.
  • Familiarity with ITIL incident/change management and documentation governance.
  • Applied Capabilities:
  • Design secure, compliant cloud architectures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud/security issues.
  • Translate technical details into clear documentation.
  • Balance security with agile development.
  • Adapt to evolving cloud and compliance needs.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience.
  • Preferred:
  • Security certifications (e.g., Cybersecurity Architect Expert, CISSP, Security+).
  • Experience with security SIEM tools.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Must be located in Arizona.
  • Available for in-person interviews and quick start.
  • Background check and drug screening required.
  • U.S. work authorization and security compliance mandatory.
