- Approximately 30% Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) and Compliance duties, 70% hands-on Mammography Technician responsibilities.
- Manage and maintain the Mammography Quality Assurance Program ensuring compliance with MQSA, ACR, and FDA standards.
- Perform QA/QC testing, inspection readiness, accreditation support, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography exams.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicists, and imaging staff to ensure optimal image quality and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in Massachusetts
- Mammography Technologist with 5 years of experience
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT(R) certification
- ARRT(M) certification

- Professional resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
- Two professional references within the last 4 years (minimum one supervisor-level).
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year.
- FEMA ICS 100 Training (must be completed, no exceptions).
- Health documentation including:
- MMR vaccination or proof of immunity.
- TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test).
- Physician health statement within 1 year.
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, including county and international residence history for the last 7 years.
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start.
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start and updated annually.
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start and updated annually.
- Education verification of highest level achieved (except CNA positions).
- Social Security Number trace as part of background check.
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI form upon acceptance and for any start date changes.
- Housing agreement form if staying in provided housing (updated if break of 35 days or more).
- Candidate submission coversheet for initial assignment.
