Job description

Facilitate PI Planning:

  • Lead and facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, ensuring all aspects of logistics and readiness are in place.
  • Collaborate with the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure that the backlog is prepared, and WSJF (Weighted Shortest Job First) is optimized.
  • Facilitate a 2-day in-person PI planning event, fostering collaboration and alignment.

Coach Alignment and Support PI Execution:

  • Coach teams to align with enterprise strategy and cascaded Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Monitor progress and key Flow metrics such as ART Predictability, Velocity, and Cycle Time.
  • Facilitate ART synchronization events to ensure teams work harmoniously.

Support ART Backlog and Promote DevOps:

  • Assist in the refinement of the ART backlog to prioritize and deliver value.
  • Promote DevOps and continuous delivery practices to enhance efficiency.

Coach and Optimize Flow:

  • Provide coaching, using powerful questions, to Scrum Masters, Team Coaches, and various ART roles.
  • Establish pull systems to optimize the flow of value and implement ART flow measures.
  • Work to reduce or eliminate cross-team dependencies and improve value stream mapping.

Drive Relentless Improvement and Collaboration:

  • Foster relentless improvement through AgilityHealth TeamHealth Assessments and Inspect & Adapt events.
  • Promote built-in quality practices and collaborate with various teams and the Lean-Agile transformation team.
  • Create an environment of mutual influence, empathy, and personal development.
