Job description

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an Oracle Developer on behalf of our client in New York, NY. We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Oracle databases, PL/SQL development, system integrations, and technical documentation within large-scale environments. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to mission-critical systems while collaborating with cross-functional technical and business teams. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database applications and solutions. Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries. Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization activities. Design and manage database objects, tables, indexes, and related structures. Implement and maintain business rules within Oracle applications. Develop and support system-to-system integrations with third-party platforms using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Create and maintain technical specifications, architecture documentation, and system design documents. Develop automation and support scripts using shell scripting and Python where applicable. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle 12c or higher. Minimum 5 years of experience in PL/SQL application development. Strong experience with: PL/SQL programming Functions and Stored Procedures Table Design and Data Management Query Optimization and Performance Tuning Business Rule Implementation Minimum 5 years of experience performing system-to-system integrations with third-party vendors using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Minimum 3 years of experience with shell scripting; Python scripting experience is preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience creating and maintaining: Technical Specifications Architecture Documentation System Design Documentation Preferred Qualifications Current or recent State Government or Department project experience. Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration patterns. Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical Oracle environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within collaborative and fast-paced technical teams. Why Join This Opportunity?
