Job description

  • Designing and architecting cloud solutions across Azure, AWS or GCP, tailored to client requirements
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable technical architectures
  • Advising on cloud migration strategies, including containerisation and orchestration approaches
  • Implementing and optimising CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Designing distributed systems and microservices architectures for resilience and scalability
  • Supporting integration of SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, RISE) with cloud platforms
  • Establishing data pipelines, quality frameworks and analytics solutions (Power BI)
  • Contributing to architectural governance, security standards and compliance (CSDR, DMZ, QMS)
  • Mentoring junior architects and engineers on cloud best practices

Requirements

What you could bringMost roles of this type require the following:Must-have

  • Proven experience architecting cloud solutions on Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, Kubernetes and containerisation (Docker)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems design and cloud-native patterns
  • Experience with .NET/ASP.NET, Java (Spring Boot, Spring) or Python development stacks
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and data pipeline design
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture patterns and BPMN/UML
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification (or equivalent cloud certification)

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with SAP integrations (S/4HANA, ECC, RISE)
  • Knowledge of advanced networking (F5, DMZ design)
  • Exposure to data quality frameworks and governance
  • Additional cloud certifications (Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in regulated industries or with compliance frameworks
