IT Service Technician in Education

As a consultant at Interm IT you will become an effective member of the school’s team.Our ideal candidate will have IT infrastructure experience ideally in education. A passion for IT is essential as well as an excellent understanding of the requirements and responsibilities of working within a school environment.

This role involves managing, setting up and troubleshooting - Servers, PC’s, MACs, laptops, mobile devices and printers.

Good knowledge of:

Active Directory, Group policy, implementing and supporting, DHCP, DNS, WSUS, MDT and WDS.

Knowledge of VLANS, Lightspeed, Google Suite and M365. Also good knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Intune.

Basic knowledge of wireless protocols.

You must have good communication skills, an approachable manner, and be able to work under pressure. You will be able work effectively within a team and independently.

A driving licence and car is essential as you will be required to travel between sites. The successful candidate will be required to pass an enhanced DBS check.
