Please check our residency definition to determine if you qualify.The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Wildlife Conservation is recruiting for an Accounting Technician 3/4 located in Juneau or Anchorage, Alaska!What you will be doing: This is an exciting opportunity to work in support of a mission of wildlife conservation, in an environment filled with diversity with a dedicated team of professionals. This position serves as the fiscal officer for the Division of Wildlife Conservation and is responsible for providing professional level oversight for finance, grants, and contracts. The position develops and implements accounting procedures, internal controls, and ensures that accounting information is complete and accurate, financial reports are reliable, and that the Division conducts itself in accordance with applicable state and federal financial laws, regulations, and policies.
