Senior Security Engineer :: Dover, DE (Onsite)

Seeking for a skilled cloud security professional with expertise in securing cloud workloads, tools, and services. A strong track record in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles and experience in managing secure cloud environments across multiple platforms is essential. Expertise in GCP cloud services is highly desired. Core Technical Skills & Experience:

• Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA): Experience in ZTNA engineering and automation, ensuring secure, scalable, and policy-driven access control. Familiarity with NIST 800-207 and Zscaler technologies.
• Cloud Platform Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of cloud security platforms like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. Ability to design and implement secure cloud architectures.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Proficient in IAM concepts, least privilege access controls, and solutions like Okta.
• Security Automation and Orchestration: Experience with automation tools such as Python, Terraform, and SOAR platforms.
• Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Proficiency in SIEM logging, analysis, and incident response procedures.
• Security Policy, Compliance, and Governance: Knowledge of security policies, compliance regulations, and governance standards.
• Data Security: Understanding of data classification standards and data loss prevention (DLP) configurations.
• Network Security: Extensive experience with network security concepts and technologies.
• Endpoint Security: Understanding of endpoint security concepts and technologies.

Soft Skills & Experience:

• Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead and mentor junior security engineers, with excellent communication skills.
• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and risk mitigation capabilities.

Education and Certifications (Preferred):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate).

Experience Level:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on cloud security and ZTNA.
• Significant experience with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing ZTNA solutions., * Extensive experience in ZTNA engineering and automation.
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
• Understanding of data classification standards and data loss prevention (DLP) configurations.
• Understanding of endpoint security concepts and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
