Job description

Location: Remote (Candidates located in TX, CA, or UT). Primary office is located in Enoch, UT, with occasional onsite visits as needed., * Provide engineering and technical support for LV/MV power distribution equipment and OEM solutions.

  • Evaluate and recommend circuit breakers, protection relays, transformers, magnetic contactors, thermal overload relays, switchgear, and OEM kits.
  • Review customer RFQs, specifications, and bid documents to develop technical proposals and cost estimates.
  • Support the design, development, and integration of OEM kits for switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, and transformer applications.
  • Ensure compliance with ANSI, IEEE, IEC, NEMA, NEC, UL891, UL67, and other applicable electrical standards.
  • Participate in product testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and field support activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to verify technical specifications and product quality.
  • Troubleshoot system integration issues and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
  • Develop technical documentation, product manuals, and training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience with OEM electrical devices such as:
  • Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB)
  • Air Circuit Breakers (ACB)
  • Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB)
  • Other LV/MV power distribution equipment
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Switchgear
  • Power distribution systems
  • Protection relays
  • Transformers
  • Electrical protection devices
  • Experience interpreting electrical drawings, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with products from Eaton, ABB, Schneider Electric, or similar manufacturers.
  • Experience using AutoCAD or other electrical design software.
