Sr. Security System Administrator

ROLE SUMMARY: The Senior Security System Administrator serves as a critical technical leader within the organization, supporting enterprise-level clients and government entities. This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with strategic oversight, delivering both in-person and remote support across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

With a focus on new product development and evaluation, this person is responsible for guiding the evolution of M3T’s customer solutions and leading the implementation of M3T-hosted solutions. This includes the design, deployment, and ongoing support of application-driven database systems critical to M3T and customer business operations.

The Senior Security System Administrator ensures high-quality service delivery by managing technical support workflows, tracking escalations, and mentoring team members. The role is central to maintaining operational excellence, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement across M3T’s technology ecosystem., * Assists with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of equipment and software.

• Assists in building solutions for customers.
• Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with equipment and software.
• Recommends and / or performs upgrades on systems to ensure longevity and uptime.
• Testing and evaluating new technology.
• Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
• Complete assigned job tickets, and projects in a timely manner.
• Works with external IT Support vendor to maintain the M3T network, software license and all in-house technology.
• Accurately record, update and document requests.
• Research, development and training of M3T approved technology platforms and systems.
• Identifies and facilitates development of solutions for M3T and its clients.
• Presents a positive, helpful, customer-focused image.
• Represents the company in a professional and businesslike manner.
• Assists with providing top-notch support which will require troubleshooting user’s technical issues.
• Supporting complex software and computer technology in a high-service environment.
• Serves as the primary point of technical support for internal customers, ensuring M3T team members receive timely, effective, and respectful assistance.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented environment by maintaining a collaborative, non-toxic approach to communication and problem-solving.

• Specialty / vertical degrees and IT certifications expected.
• Possess fluent knowledge of backend infrastructure technology platforms to include application and network knowledge.
• Conceptual knowledge in the following areas: Access Control / Power Door / Gates / CCTV / Intercom / Physical (Environmental) Security / Security Architecture and Design.
• Strong Innovative, motivational, and proactive personality.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be able to prioritize in a fast-paced working environment.
• Knowledge/capability to manage customer needs.
• Due to potential business requirements, this position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. As such, candidates may be subject to a background investigation.
