Job description

TRC Talent Solutions seeks a Client Results Platform Engineer to join a growing investment management firm in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid opportunity is located near The Battery and offers the chance to own the systems, workflows, and data that drive the client reporting experience.

This role sits at the intersection of investment operations, performance reporting, and technology. You will be responsible for ensuring client-facing performance and portfolio data are accurate, consistent, and fully defensible while helping design and scale the platform that supports reconciliations, reporting, and data integrity. This is a builder role focused on transforming manual processes into a modern, automated, and intelligence-driven environment., * Own the accuracy and integrity of client-facing data, including performance calculations, NAVs, cash flows, reconciliations, and corporate actions.

  • Ensure reporting outputs are consistent, auditable, and supported by strong controls and validation processes.
  • Design and evolve the client data platform by developing workflows that connect investment operations, performance measurement, and reporting functions.
  • Define data architecture and system requirements that support long-term scalability and business growth.
  • Develop automated controls, monitoring mechanisms, and validation frameworks to proactively identify data quality issues and process exceptions.
  • Investigate discrepancies across systems, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Drive automation initiatives focused on improving reconciliation, validation, and exception management processes.
  • Evaluate and redesign existing workflows to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce dependence on manual processes and spreadsheets.
  • Partner with investment, trading, operations, compliance, and technology teams to establish a unified source of truth for client data.
  • Support front-to-back system integration initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Experience within investment management, asset management, hedge funds, institutional finance, or a related financial services environment.
  • Performance & Reporting Knowledge: Exposure to performance measurement, NAV calculations, reconciliations, client reporting, cash flows, or investment operations.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with experience tracing complex data issues across multiple systems and processes.
  • Systems Mindset: Demonstrated ability to improve workflows, controls, operational processes, or data architecture.
  • Technical Aptitude: Exposure to SQL, workflow automation, data platforms, or related technologies is preferred.
  • Investment Operations Understanding: Knowledge of how trades, positions, cash flows, and market activity flow through operational and reporting systems.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to translate technical issues into business impact and effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ownership: Proven ability to take initiative, challenge existing processes, and drive meaningful operational improvements., * Financial Systems: Experience with platforms such as FactSet, Bloomberg, Aladdin, Charles River, SimCorp, Advent/Geneva, Eagle, Enfusion, FIS, or similar investment technology solutions.
  • Data Governance: Experience supporting data governance, controls, audit readiness, or reporting integrity initiatives.
  • Automation Experience: Exposure to workflow automation, process redesign, or intelligent systems that improve operational efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Track record of leading initiatives that standardize workflows, improve controls, and reduce operational risk.
