Job description
Program Oversight: Provide strategic and operational oversight across multiple IT application programs, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Standardization: Establish and enforce consistent program and project management practices, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and progress tracking.
Cross-Team Coordination: Manage interdependencies between projects to avoid duplicated work, reduce delays, and optimize technical resources.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translatingbusiness needs into actionable programs and measurable outcomes.
Reporting & Metrics: Deliver clear status updates, KPIs, and prioritization recommendations to leadership to streamline decision-making.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate operational risks tied to timelines, budgets, and IT investments.
Requirements
Senior-level program or portfolio management experience
Strong background overseeing multiple IT application programs
Experience aligning project execution with enterprise architecture, IT standards, budgets, and timelines
Proven ability to establish and enforce standardized project/program management practices
Strong stakeholder communication skills, bridging technical teams and business leaders
Healthcare IT or health system experience
Experience supporting PMO or enterprise application portfolios Nice To Have Qualifications:
Background in operational governance, dependency management, or resource optimization
