MERN Stack Developer

We are seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer with at least 2 years of experience to join our remote development team based in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack, ensuring seamless integration and performance across platforms., * Develop and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Debug and resolve issues to improve application performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve development processes.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with the MERN stack.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and features.
• Experience with MongoDB database design and querying.
• Proficient in building RESTful APIs using Express.js and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of React.js, including component lifecycle, hooks, and state management.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
