Technical Lead - Data Engineering

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes and data pipelines for enterprise-scale data warehouses.

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries and Unix/Linux scripts for large-scale data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Integrate and consolidate data from multiple source systems, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.

• Participate in on-premises and cloud data warehouse projects (Snowflake, GCP, Teradata).

• Review and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines for performance and reliability.

• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance in design and implementation.

• Establish data engineering best practices and conduct technical design reviews to improve system scalability and maintainability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.

• Support production deployments and troubleshoot complex data-related issues.

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any Branch), Information Technology, Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science or Computer/Management Information Systems plus five (5) years of experience as Software Developer, Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, or related position. Foreign educational equivalent accepted.

GC Wages: $163,384.00 per annum
