Job description

  • Primary responsibility will be to work with Marketing & Sales force to evolve product specifications and associated design schedules and then lead the firmware/hardware development effort on a range of endpoint power management products.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Support CNC machine tools, wire crimping machines, and wire stripping machines
  • Design production and calibration equipment
  • Test Equipment to UL Standards

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in embedded C/C++ and assembly language programming
  • Experience with real time operating systems & requirements
  • Firmware design and programming experience with 8-32-bit microprocessors (Microchip/Atmel 8-32 bit), including a thorough understanding of embedded system architecture design and development, as well as maintenance & test capabilities
  • Ability to analyze hardware design documentation to determine appropriate user interface and driver solutions
  • Excellent debugging skills in low level software and hardware
  • Ability to work independently & effectively with little supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
