Job description

The QA Tester will support the ICAM Workstream by validating SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) implementations, executing manual and automated test strategies, and ensuring the integrity of IAM lifecycle workflows across development and production environments. The QA Tester will coordinate daily with developers, product owners, and client system owners to identify defects early, validate fixes, and ensure quality standards are met before deployment. A successful QA Tester will bring hands-on experience in IAM testing, a strong understanding of SailPoint concepts, and the ability to build and maintain automation frameworks that scale across platforms., * Hands-on experience testing SailPoint IdentityIQ implementations, including LCM provisioning, access certifications, and role/entitlement validation

  • Proficiency in Java and/or BeanShell scripting for rule-level test validation and log analysis
  • Experience building and executing automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver with TestNG or JUnit
  • Designing, writing, and executing test cases and test plans aligned to IAM lifecycle workflows (Joiner, Mover, Leaver, Rehire)
  • Validating SailPoint business rules, workflows, and connectors against defined acceptance criteria
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through resolution using structured defect management practices
  • Collaborating with developers and system owners to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and confirm fixes
  • Supporting regression testing cycles during patch releases, upgrades, and environment promotions
  • Maintaining detailed test documentation including test plans, execution logs, traceability matrices, and closure reports
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contributing to sprint quality goals
  • Proactively identifying test coverage gaps and recommending improvements to testing processes and automation frameworks

Requirements

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-directed, thrives in an Agile environment, and can clearly communicate testing outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders., * Minimum 8 years of experience

  • CISA, cyber security (e.g., IAT II or CISSP), or similar IT professional certification required
  • Familiarity with IAM concepts including roles, entitlements, SoD policies, and access governance
  • Experience testing in enterprise environments with multiple integrated source/target systems
  • Ability to manage multiple test efforts simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and business audiences
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Demonstrated analytical mindset with a focus on root cause identification, not just defect reporting
  • Automation Testing: Hands-on experience building and maintaining Selenium WebDriver-based automation frameworks using Java, including page object model (POM) design patterns, test suite organization with TestNG or JUnit, and integration with reporting tools such as ExtentReports or Allure; experience extending automation coverage across IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, CyberArk, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID) is a strong plus
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines or test environment management, including triggering automated test runs via Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for managing test code and collaborating with development teams
