Job description

Schedule: Hybrid 24x7x365 Operations Center (Fixed, Non-Rotating Schedule)Monday through Thursday, 9pm ET to 7a ET, 10 hours long shift.We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Support Analyst to join the Infrastructure Operations Center (IOC). This role is responsible for monitoring, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise infrastructure across distributed computing environments, including IBM Mainframe, Windows, Unix/Linux, storage, databases, and enterprise applications.

This position serves as the first line of support for enterprise infrastructure, ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of business-critical systems while working closely with internal technology teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor enterprise infrastructure using event management and monitoring tools.
  • Perform first-level diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of infrastructure incidents.
  • Monitor and support:
  • IBM Mainframe environments
  • Windows servers
  • Unix/Linux servers
  • Web applications
  • Enterprise storage
  • Oracle and SQL Server databases
  • Monitor production batch processing across both Mainframe and distributed environments.
  • Perform first-line recovery of application failures and abnormal terminations (abends).
  • Monitor backup and disaster recovery processes for mission-critical applications.
  • Escalate and coordinate infrastructure issues with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.
  • Maintain detailed incident documentation, troubleshooting notes, and resolution records.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational procedures, monitoring tools, and support documentation.
  • Participate in on-call support and critical event response as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, systems operations, or mainframe environments.
  • Previous experience working in a 24x7 operations center is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
