Job description

You’ll start with an intensive 4 to 8-week training programme at our international headquarters, giving you all the technical knowledge and hands-on experience needed to become a specialist. Your role As a Junior International Technical Support Engineer, you’ll provide technical support for advanced industrial automation systems and help customers across Europe solve complex technical challenges. You’ll divide your time between our headquarters in Mechelen, remote customer support and travelling to customer sites across Europe and more! Your responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for advanced industrial automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, software and hardware integration issues.
  • Diagnose technical problems by recreating customer environments in our technical lab.
  • Support installations, commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites throughout Europe.
  • Perform system testing, diagnostics and validation.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and technical training.
  • Support new product launches and innovative automation projects.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any technical engineering discipline).
  • Up to 2 years of work experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).

  • An interest in industrial automation, electronics, industrial systems or high-tech equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of programming, PLCs or industrial communication is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • The legal right to work in Belgium (visa sponsorship is unfortunately not available).
