Job description

Have you recently graduated in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, embedded systems or another technical discipline? Do you enjoy working with electronic hardware, PCBs and troubleshooting complex technical systems? You’ll start with an intensive 4 to 8-week training programme at our international training academy, where you’ll gain all the technical knowledge needed to become an expert. Your challenge As a junior technical support engineer, you’ll support customers and colleagues throughout Europe by solving complex hardware-related issues and helping implement innovative automation solutions. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support for advanced industrial hardware and automation systems.
  • Troubleshooting electronic components, PCB assemblies, sensors and communication interfaces.
  • Recreating customer environments in our technical lab to identify root causes and resolve hardware issues.
  • Performing diagnostics on electronic systems using technical documentation, measurement equipment and testing procedures.
  • Working closely with R&D, product management and engineering to improve products and customer solutions.
  • Supporting customers through remote diagnostics, testing and technical consultation.
  • Delivering product demonstrations and technical training to colleagues and customers.
  • Supporting new product launches and occasionally travelling within Europe.

Requirements

We’re looking for curious engineers who enjoy understanding how electronic systems work and love solving technical challenges. You have:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, embedded systems, computer engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Up to 2 years of work experience (graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
  • An affinity with electronics and hardware development.
  • Experience with printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic components, embedded hardware, sensors or industrial electronics through your studies, internships, projects or previous work is a strong advantage.
  • You enjoy troubleshooting electronic systems and analysing hardware failures.
  • Knowledge of reading electronic schematics and technical drawings is a plus.
  • Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters or logic analysers is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Fluency in English. Additional European languages are a plus.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
