Job description

Are you an experienced CCTV & Access Control Engineer looking to join a company that genuinely values quality, customer service and technical excellence?

We’re exclusively recruiting for an established electronic security specialist delivering bespoke security solutions across Central London. This is a service and maintenance-focused role where you’ll work with a wide range of commercial clients, ensuring their security systems remain reliable, compliant and operating at peak performance.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on a variety of electronic security systems across multiple client sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planned preventative maintenance of CCTV and access control systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on CCTV, IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs and associated equipment
  • Servicing access control systems including readers, controllers, locks and intercoms
  • Carrying out minor upgrades and system modifications
  • Configuring user access rights and door schedules
  • Supporting basic IP network configuration including IP addressing and VLANs
  • Completing service documentation and maintenance records
  • Delivering outstanding customer service whilst working independently across client sites

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with strong technical ability and an excellent customer-focused approach.

You’ll ideally have:

  • 5+ years’ experience within CCTV and Access Control engineering
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working with IP CCTV systems
  • Knowledge of NVRs, DVRs, cameras and security peripherals
  • Experience servicing access control systems
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, switches, VLANs, remote access)
  • ECS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites
