Job description
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 8+ years of professional experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale software solutions using Java and modern application frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing cloud-native, distributed applications using microservices architecture, modern DevOps practices, and AWS cloud services. This role requires excellent technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to contribute throughout the software development lifecycle while providing technical guidance to development teams., * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications using Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, and related technologies.
- Develop and optimize applications that integrate with relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and DynamoDB.
- Implement secure coding practices, application performance optimization, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and regression tests using JUnit, and other testing frameworks.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps tools.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to improve application reliability.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers by providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and promoting software engineering best practices.
- Ensure applications comply with organizational security, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to Agile planning activities, including sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- 8+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, RESTful APIs, SQL, Maven or Gradle, and Git.
- Extensive experience developing microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies.
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming principles, and secure coding practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
