Junior Data Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Data Engineer to join our growing data team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in data engineering. No previous data engineering experience is required-we’re looking for individuals with strong analytical thinking, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for working with data. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop your skills and grow your career.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the delivery of accurate and timely internal reporting.

• Assist with extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from a variety of sources.

• Help maintain high standards of data quality and governance.

• Collaborate with colleagues on data engineering projects and initiatives.

• Learn modern data engineering tools, technologies, and best practices through hands-on experience and mentoring.

• A genuine interest in building a career in Data Engineering.

• A degree (preferably 2:1 or above) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or another STEM-related subject.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Curiosity and a desire to understand how data supports business decisions.

• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to ask questions and collaborate with others.

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or SQL is beneficial but not essential.
