Principal Data Architect

• Design and implement robust data models for data warehousing, master data management, and linked data initiatives that align with organizational goals.
• Oversee system design for system development projects, ensuring optimal performance tuning, scalability, and security across all data platforms.
• Drive the integration of NoSQL databases such as Hadoop and Spark with traditional relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle to facilitate big data analytics.
• Develop and enforce best practices for ETL processes using Informatica, SQL, Bash (Unix shell), and other tools to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver innovative data solutions that meet evolving business needs.
• Provide thought leadership on cloud database architecture, system design for system development, and advanced analytics to foster continuous improvement.

• Extensive experience in system design for system development within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in cloud database architecture on platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (including Microsoft SQL Server), Oracle, Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL (e.g., Hadoop), and related big data technologies.
• Demonstrated success managing complex data modeling projects involving data warehousing design and master data management initiatives.
• Skilled in ETL tools like Informatica along with scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell).
• Deep understanding of business intelligence concepts combined with hands-on experience in analytics-driven projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic insights for stakeholders.
