SQL Report Writer & Data Analyst

You will:

• Report Reconstruction & Migration: Reverse-engineer existing reports, saved searches, and workbooks from legacy systems (NetSuite) and rebuild them as clean, optimized SQL datasets/queries within our new NSAW database.
• SQL Data Modeling & Querying: Write SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to tap into NSAW’s underlying Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse structure.
• Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Validate the outputs of newly created NSAW reports against original transactional data to guarantee 100% data integrity and mathematical accuracy.
• Query Performance: Write clean, efficient SQL queries following performance best practices; escalate optimization needs for complex or high-volume datasets as appropriate.

Boveda Inc. is seeking a highly skilled SQL Report Writer & Data Analyst to play a critical role in our data modernization journey. Our company is currently migrating our reporting infrastructure away from legacy environments and recreating our core operational and financial reports inside our new NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW).

This is not a software development role; This is a SQL-first role. Candidates must be able to independently write complex SQL queries, reverse engineer existing reporting logic, and rebuild reports within NSAW.

The only technical language required for this position is SQL. You will not be asked to write application code, build software, or work with programming languages like Python, Java, or C#. Instead, your expertise lies entirely in navigating data structures, writing precise queries, and translating complex business requirements into high-performing reports and dashboards., You bring:

• Primary Requirement - SQL Report Writing: This is the foundational skill for this role. Proficiency in reading, writing, and debugging SQL queries.
• Data Warehousing Foundations: A solid understanding of relational data models, star schemas, fact tables, and dimension tables.
• The “Data Detective” Mindset: Ability to analyze existing reports and saved searches, understand their underlying logic, and work with internal stakeholders to map equivalent fields within the new NSAW data structure.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Nice to have:

• NetSuite ERP Data Experience: Direct familiarity with NetSuite data structures or NSAW/Oracle Analytics is a major advantage for this contract, but elite SQL skills are the strict requirement.
• Integration Experience: Experience working with either SaaS integration tools and/or API. Understanding the flow and manipulation of data and formats from one system to another.
