Senior Business Objects Reports Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Objects Reports Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise reporting solutions using SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ). The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality reporting and analytics solutions that support critical business operations.

Experience with Databricks and/or ETL development is highly desirable and will be considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects reports, dashboards, and universes.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Develop complex Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and ad hoc reporting capabilities.
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot reporting issues.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical teams to define reporting requirements.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, report specifications, and data mappings.
• Support production reporting environments and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements related to reporting platforms.
• Work with data engineering teams to integrate reporting solutions with enterprise data platforms.

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ).

• Strong experience developing Web Intelligence (WebI) reports.
• Experience creating and maintaining Universes (UNX/UNV).
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data warehouses and relational databases.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Talend, or similar technologies.
• Experience with data integration, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts.
• Experience working in AWS, Azure, or cloud-based environments.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or Snowflake.
• Experience supporting government, healthcare, financial services, or other regulated environments.
