Job description
- Hands-on development: You contribute to building modern applications and services using technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Work on scalable systems: Together with your team, you design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable services for a global user base.
- Turn data into products: You help transform complex meteorological and geospatial datasets into high-quality, intuitive web and mobile applications.
- Modernize existing systems: You support the transition from legacy PHP-based applications to modern architectures and technologies.
- Develop your skills: You continuously expand your technical skillset and contribute ideas to improve performance, maintainability, and development processes.
- Ensure code quality: You follow best practices, contribute to code reviews, and help maintain high standards across the codebase., * Meaningful impact: Work on products with global reach and contribute to addressing climate change.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software development
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Solid understanding of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Basic to solid database knowledge, ideally PostgreSQL
- Broad technical interest and willingness to learn across the stack
- Experience with geospatial data is a plus
- Very good English skills; German is a plus
Benefits & conditions
The annual gross salary for this position starts at €40,347.58. Depending on your experience and qualifications, the typical range for this role is €50,000 to €60,000.
