Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic software engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend systems and microservices, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Your expertise in Java, system architecture, and distributed computing will drive innovative solutions that meet complex business needs. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, system architects, and product teams to deliver robust applications that enhance user experience and operational efficiency., * Lead the development and optimization of backend systems using Java, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability across distributed environments.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless communication between systems and applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components built with React, Angular, or other frameworks, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
• Apply Agile software development methodologies to plan, execute, and deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
• Develop system architecture diagrams using UML to visualize system design for effective implementation and maintenance.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to uphold code quality standards.
• Utilize version control tools such as GitHub or TFS for source code management and participate in CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Design database schemas and optimize queries for SQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server; also work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Implement application security best practices including WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), SOAP/REST protocols, and OAuth standards.
• Contribute to system design discussions focusing on microservices architecture, scalability strategies, and distributed computing principles.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, API specifications, and development processes.

• Proven experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Extensive knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
• Hands-on experience with application frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar Java-based frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), UML modeling, version control (GitHub or SVN), CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with web services such as SOAP or WCF.
• Knowledge of database design principles for relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL; experience with T-SQL or PL/SQL is a plus.
• Skilled in multithreading concepts for high-performance applications; experience with distributed systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to develop and maintain microservices architectures using Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to facilitate collaborative project delivery.
• Excellent debugging skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in complex system environments.
