Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions across various platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and VBA.
Design and implement APIs and RESTful services to facilitate seamless integration across systems.
Manage version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to maintain code integrity.
Develop front-end components for user interfaces with a focus on usability and responsiveness.
Utilise cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for deployment and infrastructure management.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members to uphold coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in software development with a strong portfolio of application projects.
Extensive knowledge of front-end development frameworks and libraries such as JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
Proficiency in server-side programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and VBA.
Hands-on experience with database management systems like MySQL and SQL Server.
Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git.
Experience deploying applications on cloud services like AWS and Azure.
Solid understanding of APIs (RESTful services), Linux operating systems, and application security best practices.
Ability to work effectively in Agile environments with excellent communication skills.
