Job description

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Compensation Consultant with deep expertise in Ceridian Dayforce to support critical compensation, system configuration, and workflow optimization initiatives. This interim consultant will partner closely with HR, Finance, and IT to ensure compensation programs are accurately configured, compliant, and aligned with organizational strategy., * Lead compensation module configuration, testing, and optimization within Dayforce.

  • Analyze, audit, and validate compensation data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support annual and cyclical compensation processes (merit, bonus, market adjustments).
  • Develop and refine compensation workflows, approval chains, and system logic.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to align system functionality with compensation strategy.
  • Create documentation, SOPs, and training materials for HR and manager users.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on Dayforce capabilities, best practices, and enhancements.
  • Support data integrations, reporting, dashboards, and compensation analytics.
  • Ensure data integrity through audits, reconciliations, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Dayforce experience specifically within the Compensation module (configuration, workflows, testing, troubleshooting).
  • 5+ years of HRIS or Compensation experience; interim/consulting background preferred.
  • Strong understanding of compensation structures, pay grades, job architecture, and market pricing.
  • Advanced skills in HR data analysis, reporting, and system optimization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting compensation cycles in Dayforce (merit, bonus, variable pay).
  • Knowledge of integrations between Dayforce and payroll/finance systems.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, professional services, or multi-site organizations.
