Job description

  • Proactively identify advanced threats using telemetry, develop detections, analyze malware, automate hunting, and improve detection engineering.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve cybersecurity issues while following established procedures.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and briefings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture.
  • Support compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and best practices.

Requirements

We are seeking a motivated Threat Hunter to support enterprise cybersecurity operations in a fast-paced federal environment. The successful candidate will help protect mission-critical systems while collaborating with technical and operational teams., * 3+ years threat hunting/data analysis

  • Bachelor’s degree; additional 4+ years may substitute when approved.
  • CISSP Associate, CCSP, or SSCP plus qualifying CSSP certification.
  • Active TS/SCI
  • Python/R/SQL scripting, malware analysis, query development, multiple data sources., * Experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
