Job description

Proactively identify advanced threats using telemetry, develop detections, analyze malware, automate hunting, and improve detection engineering.
Monitor, analyze, and resolve cybersecurity issues while following established procedures.
Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and briefings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture.
Support compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and best practices.

Requirements

We are seeking a motivated Threat Hunter to support enterprise cybersecurity operations in a fast-paced federal environment. The successful candidate will help protect mission-critical systems while collaborating with technical and operational teams., * 3+ years threat hunting/data analysis

Bachelor’s degree; additional 4+ years may substitute when approved.
CISSP Associate, CCSP, or SSCP plus qualifying CSSP certification.
Active TS/SCI
Python/R/SQL scripting, malware analysis, query development, multiple data sources., * Experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
