Job description
- Investigate cyber incidents, perform triage, coordinate containment and recovery, tune SIEM content, document findings.
- Monitor, analyze, and resolve cybersecurity issues while following established procedures.
- Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and briefings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture.
- Support compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and best practices.
Requirements
We are seeking a motivated Security Analyst (Incident Response) to support enterprise cybersecurity operations in a fast-paced federal environment. The successful candidate will help protect mission-critical systems while collaborating with technical and operational teams., * Three (3) years security experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- CEH or CySA+ plus one qualifying DoD 8140 certification (Cloud+, GCED, GFACT, GISF, GSEC, PenTest+, Security+, etc.).
- Active TS/SCI
- Experience creating and modifying SIEM dashboards., * Experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
