Irrigation Technician - Experienced (Landscape Maintenance Firm)

Urban Landcare is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. We are a fast growing company based out of North County San Diego. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems across various commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal water management, healthy landscapes, and efficient operation of irrigation equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to landscape excellence., * Install, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, and sprinklers

• Conduct regular inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctioning components and perform necessary repairs promptly
• Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and perform electrical repairs on irrigation equipment
• Manage irrigation schedules and system programming to optimize water usage based on soil conditions and plant needs
• Manage central irrigation systems and 2 Wire Systems
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly with overall landscape care plans
• Maintain detailed records of system inspections, repairs, parts used, and system modifications for accountability and future reference

• Proven experience working with irrigation systems in landscape maintenance or related fields
• Strong mechanical knowledge of irrigation components and systems
• Ability to perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on irrigation controllers and wiring
• Familiarity with commercial landscape maintenance
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators
• Construction experience or background in landscape installation is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
• Bi Lingual- English/Spanish is preferred
