Job description

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer Fortinet to manage support and enhance enterprise network security infrastructure The role involves working on Fortinetbased security solutions supporting L3level operations and ensuring secure reliable connectivity across hybrid environments, * Manage and support Fortinet firewalls FortiGate in enterprise environments

  • Configure and maintain FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer
  • Handle L3level troubleshooting for network and security incidents
  • Implement and manage
  • VPNs SitetoSite Remote Access
  • IPSIDS URL Filtering Threat Protection
  • Monitor network performance and security using SIEM tools
  • Perform incident response isolation and mitigation activities
  • Support network upgrades migrations and architecture improvements
  • Work closely with client teams for onsite operations and escalations
  • Maintain documentation SOPs HLD LLD runbooks
  • Ensure compliance with security standards ISO NIST etc

Requirements

  • Handson experience with
  • Fortinet FortiGate FortiManager FortiAnalyzer
  • Network security concepts Firewall NAT VPN IPS
  • Strong understanding of
  • Routing Switching CiscoMeraki preferred
  • TCPIP VLANs WAN technologies
  • Experience in incident management and troubleshooting L3 level
  • Familiarity with monitoringlogging tools eg Splunk or similar
  • Knowledge of network security frameworks and best practices

Good to Have

  • Experience with other firewalls Palo Alto Checkpoint
  • Exposure to cloud security AzureAWS Firewall WAF

Certifications

  • NSE Fortinet
  • CCNA CCNP Security

Role Expectations

  • Strong client communication onsite interaction
  • Quick turnaround on critical incidents
  • Ownership of production environments, Mandatory Skills : Cisco-sdn-network-administration, SSE - Cisco Umbrella/Secure Access
