Job description

  • Perform data wrangling, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
  • Build, test, and enhance advanced analytics and AI/ML models.
  • Conduct data analysis, create visualizations, and prepare decision-support reports.
  • Perform research and experiments on new data science methodologies.
  • Work with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) and custom analytical tools.
  • Support end-to-end development of data science solutions - from problem formulation and prototyping to deployment and monitoring in production.
  • Develop and maintain clear project documentation.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and support team development.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams within R&D projects.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in at least two of specialization areas listed below:
  • Applied machine learning (e.g., classification, regression, anomaly detection, time series models, feature engineering, model evaluation)
  • Computer vision (e.g., image and video analysis, object detection, segmentation, OCR)
  • Natural language processing (e.g., text classification, information extraction, sentiment analysis, search, document understanding)
  • Generative AI (e.g., Large Language Models, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, GANs, VAEs, diffusion models)
  • Reinforcement learning (e.g., decision optimization, control problems, simulation-based learning) - nice to have
  • Recommender systems & decision support (e.g., ranking, personalization, matching, collaborative filtering, learning-to-rank) - nice to have
  • Strong Python skills for data science and experience with ML/AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Experience working with large datasets and data processing tools.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Practical understanding of MLOps concepts (e.g., model lifecycle management, monitoring, retraining).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose practical solutions.
