Functional Netsuite Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Functional NetSuite Developer to join our dynamic IT team. • Design, configure, and customize NetSuite modules to optimize financial management, supply chain, CRM, and other core business functions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, web services, and middleware tools.
• Implement ETL processes for data migration, transformation, and synchronization across diverse data sources such as SQL databases, NoSQL stores, and cloud platforms.
• Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability, performance, and security of NetSuite applications.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and technical procedures following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git to streamline software updates and version control.

• Proven experience in solution architecture within the NetSuite environment or similar ERP platforms.
• Strong understanding of Service-oriented architecture (SOA), system design principles, and enterprise solutions implementation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, SuiteScript (NetSuite’s JavaScript-based API), Python or Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with database management systems including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle; familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as cloud security (AWS or Azure), virtualization (VMware), load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS/DHCP management.
• Familiarity with application development frameworks like C#, Java or Ruby on Rails; experience with RESTful APIs and web services (SOAP).
• Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools; version control systems like Git are essential.
• Strong background in computer science fundamentals-system architecture, operating systems (Windows/Linux), network protocols-and cybersecurity best practices including vulnerability management and system hardening.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to system administration or application development efficiently.
• Relevant certifications such as NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant/Developer are advantageous; a degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
