Job description
- Work closely with a highly motivated and dedicated team of professionals and other internal/external stakeholders while executing model-based systems engineering development activities for mission critical programs.
- Participate in the systems development lifecycle, developing typical systems artifacts that include trade studies, system design, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirement traceability, ICD creation, systems integration, verification testing and qualification.
- Participate in and help facilitate Agile ceremonies, Agile sprint reviews, user story refinement and end of sprint product demos.
- Work directly with stakeholders to answer technical questions, help solve problems, and support successful project execution.
- Gain experience developing secure systems while collaborating with technical experts and applying modern systems engineering methods.
- Gain hands-on experience with modern modeling tools and next-generation systems engineering practices.

Requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of prior work experience
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance after start date., * Experience in one or more areas of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, design, integration, verification, validation, and technical documentation.
- Experience in one or more areas of MBSE, including system modeling, requirements traceability, or architecture development.
- Experience using the Atlassian resource suite, specifically: Jira, Jama, and Confluence.
- Working knowledge of narrowband communication technologies.
- Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating across software, hardware, cyber, and systems engineering disciplines.
- Experience with MIL-STD hardened environments, ensuring compliance with military specifications for ruggedness, durability, and security.
- Practical experience with MBSE concepts, SysML, and modeling tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, or Enterprise Architect.
- Experience developing requirements and collaborating with consuming teams on interfaces, performance, and system integration.
- Experience collaborating with design teams to ensure implemented designs meet system, integration, and operational requirements.
- Working knowledge of bidding and project/task estimation tools (e.g. SEER products).
