Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Java Developer with a valid US driver’s license to join our innovative technology team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong background in Java-based application development, system design, and distributed computing. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing backend systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Prior experience working with major financial or tech companies is highly preferred. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and ensure seamless integration with front-end interfaces.
Develop RESTful APIs and web services to enable secure data exchange across distributed systems.
Conduct system analysis, create UML diagrams, and participate in system design for scalable solutions.
Write clean, efficient code while adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices and version control standards such as GitHub or TFS.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Support CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

Requirements

Strong Application Development work experience - Agile environment preferred.
Solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging skills
Expertise in development using Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services.
frameworks - Spring, spring batch, Spring-boot, JPA, REST, MQ.
Knowledgeable in developing RESTful micro services with technical stack, * Proven experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Hands-on knowledge of web development frameworks such as Spring Boot, React Express, Angular, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with database design and management using SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
Experience working with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and system design for distributed computing environments.
Proficiency in front-end development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and UI frameworks like Bootstrap or React.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application deployment and scalability.
Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and tools like JIRA or TFS.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Valid US driver’s license; prior experience working with transportation or logistics systems is a plus.
