Job description

Looking for an opportunity to build an AI-powered healthcare platform that directly improves how doctors work and interact with patients, insurers, and care systems in the US? We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer (+React) to join a high-impact product team developing an intelligent application for medical providers.The platform leverages AI-driven automation and conversational interfaces to optimize clinical workflows, streamline revenue cycle management, and reduce administrative burden for doctors. From automated patient calls and appointment scheduling to post-visit summaries and insurance coordination - this product is designed to help healthcare professionals focus on what matters most: patient care.

Major responsibilities:

Develop clean, efficient, and reusable Python code with a focus on scalable, AI-native architecture
Design and implement backend services and application components as part of a distributed system
Participate in frontend development using React (modern, hooks-based approach)
Integrate third-party APIs and internal microservices
Design and optimize database interactions (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
Create and maintain technical documentation: APIs, architecture decisions, modules, and development guidelines
Take part in architectural discussions and technical decision-making

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Python development (FastAPI, async services)
Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend practices
Experience contributing to MVP development while keeping long-term scalability and architecture in mind
Solid understanding of system design and API integrations
Experience working with AI / LLM-based systems (strong advantage)
Confidence working in environments with a high level of autonomy
Proactive mindset: ability to ask the right questions and propose solutions
Experience communicating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
English at B2 level or higher

Nice to have, but not critical:

Experience in the Healthcare domain, especially with US-based products or regulations
Experience with secure authentication flows, including SSO and token-based access
Deep knowledge of Kotlin, including strong understading of coroutines and API integration.
