Job description

  • Activity Preparation: Take ownership of hosting scheduled event activities, ensuring a thorough understanding of the activity and host instructions.
  • Technical: Install and set up the game, manage sign-in processes, facilitate joining our private server, handle gamertags, and prepare participants for the activity.
  • Independent Event Hosting: Lead captivating activities for participants, blending fun and education using pre-prepared materials.
  • Interactivity and Collaboration: Actively engage with participants, offering encouragement and fostering a collaborative atmosphere throughout the experience.

Requirements

Are you enthusiastic about working with kids and knowledgeable about the world of Minecraft? We’re seeking personable hosts to lead our engaging events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, connects well with elementary/tween/teenage kids, and can professionally represent Arrayscape Gaming.

Prior experience playing Minecraft and a basic understanding of technology are essential for this role. As a host, you’ll lead and actively play along in the activities alongside enthusiastic participants. Get ready to ignite imaginations, nurture creativity, and create memorable experiences for the next generation of Minecraft enthusiasts., * Ability to cultivate a dynamic and engaging gaming environment.

  • Reliable Transportation for commuting to customer sites.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to device/server setup.
  • Minecraft Experience
  • Proficiency in Minecraft gameplay, coupled with hands-on experience in executing operator commands.
  • Passionate about gaming.
  • Experience with creative building

Bonus

Previous experience working with children aged 7 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, teaching, etc.).

You must have a device capable of concurrently

  • Participating in the activity (i.e., playing Minecraft ).
  • Connecting your laptop to a projector / tv.
  • Presenting slides.
  • Running the Chrome Browser.

Mileage reimbursement is calculated as follows: (MilesTraveled - 20) × $0.67
