Job description

We’re looking for a Full-Stack TypeScript Developer Intern to help build real production software across our web apps, mobile apps, backend APIs, and internal tools.

This is an AI-first engineering internship. At Ody, we use AI heavily across our development workflow, including code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, PR preparation, code review, and product iteration. We are looking for developers who are comfortable using AI coding tools to move quickly, think critically, and ship high-quality software.

You’ll work on real customer-facing features across ordering, reservations, business dashboards, admin tools, customer discovery, payments, analytics, and onboarding.

You’ll also gain exposure to modern production engineering workflows: pull requests, code review, generated API contracts, testing, CI checks, staging and production environments, and real customer-facing releases.

Requirements

Experience with TypeScript, React, or modern JavaScript

Interest in full-stack development

Comfort using AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, or similar tools

Ability to use AI effectively for coding, debugging, learning, refactoring, and problem-solving

Basic understanding of APIs and databases

Ability to write clean, maintainable code

Strong curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn quickly

Good judgment when using AI-generated code, including the ability to review, test, and improve outputs

Nice To Have

Experience with React Native, PostgreSQL, React Query, or backend development

Familiarity with testing, CI/CD, or cloud/serverless platforms

Experience using AI coding agents or AI-assisted development workflows

Interest in startups, local businesses, restaurants, hospitality, commerce, or consumer products
