Job description

  • Lead wet chemical process hardware development from concept through productization, including chamber design, prototyping and validation
  • Design and integrate fluid delivery, recirculation, drainage and spray systems for high-performance wet processing applications
  • Develop PnIDs, chamber layouts and flow concepts to ensure uniform chemical distribution, thermal stability and process performance
  • Select materials and components with focus on chemical compatibility, corrosion resistance and long-term reliability
  • Define requirements, perform engineering analyses and execute testing to validate chamber, fluidic and thermal performance
  • Generate technical documentation, FMEA and specifications to deliver safe, manufacturable and cost-effective solutions
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams while providing technical leadership and mentorship in wet process hardware and chamber design

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years; or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills
  • Highly proficient in 3D CAD tools such as CREO, Siemens NX, ProE, SolidWorks, and others
  • Hands-on experimental and design background coupled with solid engineering skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Semiconductor industry is a plus
  • Experience in leading projects, or problem solving while managing time and multiple priorities

Benefits & conditions

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group F, depending on your educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
