Software Architect

1. Design the architecture of specific cloud solutions in the core of the business of our clients.
2. Own technical quality of product and process; set up, track, and monitor relevant metrics for quality and business success.
3. Ensure documentation of the solution is up to date and shared with all relevant stakeholders.
4. Own the roadmap for the client in close collaboration with the product owner.
5. QA of the code and where needed hands-on development.
6. Define development standards for the team(s) to follow.

1. Proven overall 8+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years as a hands-on Architect or similar role.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure or AWS; familiarity with GCP is a plus.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
4. Experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and QA tools.
5. Experience in complex enterprise environments and solutions is a plus.
6. Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills; Dutch is a plus.
7. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).

We design, build, manage, and operate highly scalable and complex software projects in the heart of the primary business processes of our clients, including Tennet, Eneco, Dura Vermeer, and Nederlandse Loterij. We are also actively involved in independent developments such as a platform for managing power network congestion and a platform for managing zero-emission last mile delivery.
