Job description

As a Senior IT Security Consultant, you’ll:

  • Deliver security assessments, audits, and risk management engagements.
  • Advise clients on cybersecurity best practices, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify security risks and recommend practical remediation strategies.
  • Support the design and implementation of secure IT environments.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to improve security controls.
  • Assist clients with incident response planning and security resilience initiatives.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and client presentations.
  • Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of information security principles and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Experience with risk assessments, security governance, and compliance programmes.
  • A solid understanding of network, cloud, endpoint, and infrastructure security.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a range of audiences.
  • Experience working with security technologies, vulnerability management, and security monitoring tools.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, ISO/IEC 27001, Microsoft Security, AWS Security, or similar are advantageous but not essential.
