Job description
As a Senior IT Security Consultant, you’ll:
- Deliver security assessments, audits, and risk management engagements.
- Advise clients on cybersecurity best practices, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Identify security risks and recommend practical remediation strategies.
- Support the design and implementation of secure IT environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to improve security controls.
- Assist clients with incident response planning and security resilience initiatives.
- Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and client presentations.
- Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of information security principles and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience with risk assessments, security governance, and compliance programmes.
- A solid understanding of network, cloud, endpoint, and infrastructure security.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a range of audiences.
- Experience working with security technologies, vulnerability management, and security monitoring tools.
- The ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, ISO/IEC 27001, Microsoft Security, AWS Security, or similar are advantageous but not essential.
