Embedded Engineer

Working on advanced technology products, you will collaborate closely with electronics and power supply design engineers to develop embedded software and digital control systems used in innovative, high-performance products., * Design and develop embedded software for new product development

• Implement and support digital control loops within advanced electronic products
• Maintain and improve existing production firmware
• Work closely with design engineers to ensure software meets technical and customer requirements
• Support software testing, design reviews and release control
• Contribute to project planning, estimates and technical documentation
• Ensure designs meet quality, safety and regulatory standards

• Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar
• Experience in embedded software / firmware development
• Strong C programming skills
• Experience with microcontrollers (PIC/DSP/TMS320 desirable)
• Understanding of embedded systems and control theory
• Methodical problem-solving approach
• Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment

Desirable:

• VB.NET / GUI development exposure
• Power electronics or control systems experience
• Regulated or high-spec engineering environment experience
